This year, BCNET will be hosting the 5th Annual Advanced Network Conference, Western Canada’s largest Internetworking conference. The conference brings together network experts, researchers, academics, professionals and visionaries to learn and share their unique knowledge about high performance computing.

· Eng Lim Goh, Ph.D, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Silicon Graphics, Inc is a noted industry visionary who has delivered a series of outstanding innovations to the high performance computing community

· Ed Seidel, Director of the Center for Computation and Technology (CCT) at Louisiana State University is widely regarded as one of the most influential “grid” men in the world.

· Dr. Robert Deupree, Director, Institute for Computational Astrophysics (ICA) is the principal leader behind the “Atlantic Computational Excellence Network” or ACEnet vision. ACEnet is Atlantic Canada’s entry into developing a high performance network for regional education and research.
