Oslo - a modern metropolis and a cosy village

If you have never been to Oslo before, you have something waiting for you!

Oslo is known for being a city of contrasts and multitude. Its natural beauty, in combination
with all the facilities of a modern metropolis, adds to the charm of a city often called "the world's biggest village".

The centre of Oslo is small and compact; most hotels, meeting facilities, shopping and entertainment areas are within walking distance, making it easy to organise meetings here.

Its beautiful natural surroundings, varied architecture, and multinational inhabitants contribute to the city’s unique atmosphere. More modern districts include the bustling Aker
Brygge area, a rehabilitated old shipyard, with its many shops, restaurants and cafés.

And the development that is taking place at the moment, with focus on design and modern architecture, will make Oslo one of the most exciting and vibrant cities in northern Europe.

Yet, the old-time charm is always right there on our doorstep.
